  Some people on the Internets claim it’s “Crazy Putty” which is kind of funny, but I’m not sure why Liz had to write it down.

  oh, i heard it as “crazy dummy” and assumed that she really meant crazy pussy.

  The consensus seems to be that it’s Crazy Putty but that she wrote Crazy Pussy. Of course Crazy Pussy isn’t very funny. And apparently Jack was yelling “Crazy Putty” when the cops were chasing him.

  I missed that at first, too — caught that he said “putty” but didn’t get that it was a handwriting mistake. “Crazy Pussy” isn’t that funny on its own, but the implication rather than statement kinda is.

  But as far as those jokes go, “get rid of the Seaward” on Arrested Development is far better.

  perhaps “putty” is like “pootie” which is like “cooter” which we all know is reference to the female nether parts.

  Guys, I’m looking for a good explanation and this is the best one I have regarding this.

  maybe the joke is that the show has historically given veiled references that can be figured out and this one is a red herring. It’s a nonsense phrase that can’t be cracked.

  Tina digs the thought that we’re trying to figure a thing out that cannot be figured out – except that it is nonsensical.

  I think Liz intentionally writes down “Crazy putty”, due to her immaturity, though the actual nickname was “Crazy pussy”, as suggested by Liz’s emphatic “No!” to Jack’s “Crazy putty?”
